Best for
- Cellars of about 250 to 2,000 cubic feet. Wine Guardian notes the range depends on use and room construction.

Not the right fit if
- You want a unit you can install yourself. Wine Guardian requires installation by qualified technicians certified to handle refrigerant.
- Winters run below 20Β°F. Order the condensing unit with Extreme Climate Protection separately instead.
- You need serving temperatures or moisture added. Those need the All Wine Temperatures fan coil or the optional humidifier.
Installation requirements
- Fan coil indoors near the cellar, outside it, on a level platform with 3 feet of service clearance; no more than 15 feet of height difference to the condensing unit.
- Insulated supply and return ducts: Wine Guardian recommends 8 inch ducts for a single run or 6 inch for a double run, and no more than 25 feet of supply and return duct in total, including bends. Check longer runs with Wine Guardian before ordering.
- Condensing unit outdoors on a level slab above snowfall, or in a space at least 3 times the size of the cellar, with 12 inches clear on every side.
- Fan coil on a dedicated 115 V circuit; condensing unit hardwired at 208 to 230 V (MCA 4.2 A, MOP 7 A); copper lines 1/4" liquid and 3/8" suction, up to 50 equivalent ft.

Can I change the options? This system ships with both base models. For All Wine Temperatures or Extreme Climate Protection, order the fan coil and condensing unit separately in the version you need.
What does the warranty cover? Parts for 25 months and labor for 13 months from the original invoice, for the original buyer. Labor is covered only with Wine Guardian approval before work starts.
