Coverage · Section 01
§ 1.1
What’s covered.
Wine Guardian warrants its cooling units against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and proper installation. Coverage is comprehensive for the full 2-year period — parts, labor, and the craftsmanship that goes into every USA-made unit.
1.1 Coverage summary
- Defects in materials — any component that fails due to a defect in the materials used in manufacturing.
- Defects in workmanship — any failure attributable to how the unit was assembled or manufactured.
- Normal use — the unit must be operated under normal conditions as described in the product manual.
- Proper installation — coverage applies when the unit is installed according to Wine Guardian’s installation guidelines.
- Duration — 2 years from the date of purchase.
Made in the USA
Every Wine Guardian cooling system is manufactured in the United States. The factory warranty reflects the confidence Wine Guardian places in the quality of every unit that leaves their facility.
Products · Section 02
§ 2.1
Eligible products.
The 2-Year Factory Warranty applies to all Wine Guardian systems we carry. Whether you chose a through-the-wall unit or a fully ducted split system, the same comprehensive coverage applies from day one.
2.1 Covered system types
- Through-the-wall (self-contained) units — the most widely installed Wine Guardian configuration, mounted directly through the cellar wall.
- Ducted self-contained systems — all-in-one units with ducted airflow for remote placement outside the cellar space.
- Ducted split systems — split-system units with ducted delivery, suited to larger cellars or specific architectural layouts.
- Ductless split systems — split-system units without ductwork for flexible placement of evaporator and condenser.
Professional install
Wine Guardian strongly recommends professional installation for split and ducted systems. Improper installation voids warranty coverage — contact us before you order and we can advise on installation requirements for your specific system.
Authorization · Section 04
§ 4.1
Authorization required.
Before any repair or replacement work begins, Wine Guardian must authorize the corrective action. This is a firm requirement — unauthorized work cannot be reimbursed under the warranty.
4.1 What this means in practice
Contact Wine Majesty first — before you arrange a service call, ship any parts back, or pay for any repairs. We will contact Wine Guardian to obtain authorization for the corrective action. Once authorization is confirmed, you will be advised on next steps.
Important
Do not ship parts back or pay for repairs without authorization. Work carried out or parts returned without Wine Guardian’s prior approval cannot be reimbursed under the warranty, regardless of the outcome.
4.2 Why authorization exists
Authorization protects you as well as the warranty process. It ensures the proposed repair is appropriate, that the right parts are used, and that the work is performed by a qualified technician — all of which are required for the repair to be covered.
