Breezaire has been building wine cellar cooling systems in the United States since 1985. Self contained through the wall units that mount in a wall and plug into a standard outlet, and split systems that let the noisy half sit up to fifty feet away. Breezaire designs these units to remove only excess moisture, aiming for 50 to 75 percent relative humidity in a properly built, sealed cellar. They do not add moisture, so actual humidity depends on the room.

Buying Guide
Breezaire WKL vs WKSL: choosing your cooling system.
Breezaire makes two kinds of wine cellar cooling. WKL units are self-contained and mount through a wall. WKSL systems are split: a fan coil inside the cellar and a condensing unit placed elsewhere. Both are designed to hold a selectable temperature of about 48 to 63Β°F in a properly built cellar.

Humidity
Breezaire designs both lines to remove only excess moisture, aiming for 50 to 75% relative humidity in a properly sealed cellar with a vapor barrier. The units do not add moisture, and Breezaire notes that in very dry conditions that range may not be reached without adding moisture. Actual room humidity depends on how the cellar is built, so it is not guaranteed.
Sizing
The cubic foot ratings assume a properly insulated cellar without glass doors or windows, and Breezaire states that the buyer must determine whether a unit suits a specific room. Read the WKL installation instructions or the WKSL installation instructions before you build.
