The Wine Guardian SS018 is a ductless split wine cellar cooling system for small cellars with no room for mechanical equipment and no ability to run ductwork. It can be surface mounted or installed through the wall. This listing is the complete system: both the indoor fan coil and the outdoor condensing unit are included, so nothing else needs to be ordered to cool your cellar.

The two sections are joined by a field-supplied refrigerant line set of up to 50 ft, installed and charged by a licensed HVAC technician. Controls are built into the fan coil section.

Let the unit stand upright for a minimum of 24 hours before first power-on. This allows the refrigerant to fully settle after transit.

Level & Position

Adjustable front legs level the cabinet on uneven floors. Ensure 2" rear clearance for built-in installs; 4" recommended for freestanding.

STEP 03

Power & Program

Plug into a dedicated 15 A circuit. Set upper and lower zones via the digital touch panel. Initial cool-down takes 6–8 hours.

What are the exact dimensions of this product?

Full dimensions are listed in the product description above. For wine fridges, we recommend 2–3 inches of clearance on all sides for ventilation. Do I need a professional for installation?

Wine racks: most W Series and Evolution kits are DIY-friendly with standard tools (drill, level, wall anchors). Concrete or tile walls may require a professional. A full installation guide is included with every kit.
Wine fridges/coolers: no installation required — plug in and set your temperature. If you need in-home placement beyond curbside delivery, contact us to arrange it.
