The Summit SWBV3071 is a 30 inch wide undercounter cooler with French doors: wine on the right at 41 to 72Β°F and craft beer or other drinks on the left at 36 to 43Β°F, each with its own control and keyed lock. It holds 33 Bordeaux bottles on six wooden shelves, plus 72 8 oz cans or 48 12 oz bottles.
Best for
- Wine and beer in one undercounter unit, each at its own temperature.
- A 30 inch space under the counter, or freestanding with the finished cabinet.
- Kosher kitchens. Summit lists STAR-K certification and a Sabbath mode.
Not the right fit if
- You want two wine temperatures. The left section is for beverages.
- You need an NSF-7 sanitation listing. Summit lists UL-471 only.
Installation requirements
- Built in under the counter or freestanding. The back is sealed with no exposed coils, but built in, the Summit manual still calls for at least 2 inches at the back, 3/16 inch on each side and 1/16 inch at the top, and the front vent must never be blocked.
- 37 inches of depth with the doors open at 90 degrees.

Common questions
Can I store Burgundy or champagne bottles? Yes. The slotted floors hold larger bottles on their sides, and Summit suggests removing every other wine shelf for wider bottles.
Which way do the doors open? From the center, French door style, so there is no hinge side to choose.
