§ 1.1
Year 1 — Full Coverage.
For one year from the date of purchase by the original owner, Summit will repair or replace any part of the unit that proves to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use. Summit covers both parts and labor during this period, at no cost to you.
1.1 What’s included
- Parts — any component that proves defective in material or workmanship.
- Labor — service labor required to perform the repair.
- Window — one year from the date of original purchase by the original owner.
- Outcome — repair or replacement of the defective part, at no cost to you.
Good to keep
Hold on to your order confirmation email — it serves as your proof of purchase and original date of purchase. We can also pull it from your order history at any time.
Phase 02 · Years 2 – 5
§ 2.1
Years 2 – 5 — Compressor Coverage.
For the second through fifth year from the date of original purchase, Summit will provide a replacement compressor free of charge in the event of compressor failure. Service labor and freight charges during years 2–5 are the customer’s responsibility.

Why this matters
The compressor is the most expensive component of a wine cooler. Coverage that extends four years past the full warranty keeps the costliest part of the unit protected long after year 1.

§ 3.1
Important conditions.
The Summit warranty applies under the following conditions. Please review them before installing or operating your unit.

Per the user manual
The unit must be installed and operated according to the user manual.

Original purchaser
The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser to whom the unit was delivered.

Contiguous 48 states
Coverage excludes Alaska, Hawaii, all off-shore territories, and Canada. At the manufacturer’s option, defective parts are repaired or replaced.

- Normal cosmetic wear; units used or sold outside the contiguous 48 states
