Important · Section 01
§ 1.1 to 1.2
The Lifetime Warranty applies to factory installations only.
Read this before you order
Genuwine Cellars' Lifetime Warranty applies only to installations completed by Genuwine Cellars' own team. Orders shipped by Wine Majesty are customer-installed and are therefore not covered by that Lifetime Warranty. Every system is still covered against manufacturing defects. Contact us before installing if anything arrives damaged.
1.1 Why we say this so plainly
Genuwine Cellars designs, builds and installs complete cellars. When its own crew measures, fabricates and installs a project, the finished installation carries a Lifetime Warranty. That warranty is written around the installation, not only around the parts, which is why it does not travel with a system that someone else mounts.
Wine Majesty ships Genuwine Cellars Reserve systems to you as a product. We do not install them. So the Lifetime Warranty does not apply to your order, and any page anywhere that implies it does is wrong. We would rather lose a sale than let you find this out after a failure.
1.2 What you do get
You get the same hardware, built in the same shop, covered against defects in materials and workmanship. That is a real warranty and it is described in section 02. What you do not get is coverage for the installation, because we are not the ones doing it.
If a Lifetime Warranty on the finished installation matters to you, tell us. Genuwine Cellars runs a full design and installation service, and we would rather route you there than sell you something on a misunderstanding.
Coverage · Section 02
§ 2.1 to 2.2
What is covered.
Every Genuwine Cellars Reserve system sold by Wine Majesty is covered against defects in materials and workmanship. The cable displays are built from aircraft-grade stainless steel tension cable and precision-milled solid aluminum hardware, and a fault in any of that is a manufacturing claim.
2.1 A covered claim
- Defective hardware: milled components that arrive cracked, mis-threaded, out of tolerance or with a finish fault from the factory.
- Cable and tension components: cable, ferrules or tensioners that fail under the intended load because of a manufacturing fault.
- Wrong or missing parts: a configuration, finish or component that does not match your confirmed order, corrected at no cost to you including freight.
- Freight damage: handled as a carrier claim. Genuwine files the claim with the carrier on the basis of your photographs and coordinates replacement of the affected parts.
2.2 A proven defect inside 60 days
Where a defect is clearly demonstrated, Genuwine accepts a free return within 60 days of delivery, with return freight covered. Outside that window, a defect claim is still assessed on the merits, but the resolution is more likely to be replacement parts than a full return.
Change of mind is different
Genuwine does not, as a rule, accept change-of-mind returns on non-custom items, and configured systems are built to your order. This is the single most important difference between Genuwine and the rest of our catalogue, and it is set out in full in our Refund Policy. Please read it before you configure a system.
Practical · Section 03
§ 3.1 to 3.2
Installation, lead time and where it ships from.
3.1 These are engineered wall systems
01
Anchoring is on you
Cable and cantilever displays carry real load and must be anchored into structure, not into drywall alone. Anchoring, wall preparation and load-bearing decisions are the customer's responsibility.
02
Use a professional
We strongly recommend a qualified installer. Damage caused during installation, over-tensioning or incorrect assembly is not a manufacturing defect.
03
Inspect before you mount
Open every carton and check hardware counts and condition before a single anchor goes into the wall. Once a system is tensioned, a claim becomes much harder to support.
3.2 Made to order, and it crosses a border
Genuwine Cellars Reserve cable and floating displays are made to order, with an estimated lead time of 4 to 8 weeks depending on size and complexity. They are manufactured and shipped from Genuwine Cellars in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
Import duties, taxes and customs brokerage on your shipment are arranged and prepaid through Wine Majesty. Nothing is billed to you at delivery. If a carrier ever attempts to collect a customs or brokerage charge from you, do not pay it. Contact us immediately and we will resolve it with the carrier.

Process · Section 05
§ 5.1
How to file a claim.
Contact Wine Majesty support. We raise the claim with Genuwine Cellars directly, including any carrier claim, so you only deal with one team.
5.1 What to send us
- Your order number and the system and finish ordered, for example Lumina in Silver.
- Photographs of the affected component, the carton and the shipping label.
- Whether the system has been installed or tensioned. Tell us honestly, because it changes which route the claim takes.
- For a freight claim, please send photos within 24 hours of delivery. The carrier's window is short and we cannot extend it.
